We booked two nights at Burj Baneria. We were given the most lovely welcome and instantly felt right at home. Travelling from Australia, we had no local knowledge of Udaipur, and the owners, management and all staff offered us some great advice and recommendations. They went above and beyond — organising reservations and booking further travel for us. The hotel itself was such a highlight for us, that we really didn’t want to leave. It was immaculately cleaned and so well presented. The rooms have stunning views of the lake, and waking early to watch sunrise is a must! Depending on the room, you can also see the Monsoon Palace and other local attractions. The complimentary breakfast on the rooftop was so delicious, and dinner on the rooftop was just as wonderful. Such a beautiful and romantic setting, looking out over to the lake towards the Old City. We loved our stay so much, that we changed our travel plans and came back — and we are already planning our return visit, with a much longer stay next time! We can’t recommend this place more highly, and we know you will love it too!

We had a wonderful time at Burj Baneria. The hotel is nested in the forest far from the city buzz. The views both from rooms and restaurants are exceptional. The entire staff was very kind and helpful, the owners and managers organized our drops and pick up to the city, day trip and made sure to answer any demand. The house is decorated with taste, rooms are very comfortable and clean. The restaurant is very good, we had great vegetarian dishes for a very reasonable price. Highly recommended !

The room offers a stunning view, and the hosts generously provide guidance on the best local experiences. Shivika is a kind-hearted guide, advising on the best shopping spots. Additionally, the food here is deliciously scrumptious, leaving you wanting more. I definitely recommend this place and we are sure to come back soon, especially during the monsoons.
